Writing articles is such a great thing to do especially if you want to make money from this. But there are a lot of articles which cannot be published although the contents are unique and interesting. So, you have to know the reasons why those articles are in trouble. Although articles are written in your everyday language and should be easily understandable, it is not nice to read an article with too many grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. Then, you should define the paragraphs clearly. Most readers will avoid reading a paragraph or text which contains twenty run-on sentences or more. They tend to scan that kind of article and feel nicer to read small bites of information. You should also be consistent by staying in one voice for the entire article.
Moreover, too much hype, bragging and self-promotion are not considered as good article. The readers cannot trust you and of course your articles will be left. Creating too broad or superficial articles in content is highly not recommended. On the other hand, you are suggested to write something in-depth on a narrow topic. You have the chance to define and explain man things related to the topic. Using bullet points or numbered lists will be fine. This is your opportunity to offer some new things to your readers. You do not have to be an expert since your everyday experience can show them if you are an expert in certain issues. Original and unique topic which has not been done by others will be great choices. Furthermore, you have to avoid creating a dull headline or boring introduction to the article. The title should be simple and brief but represents the topic of your article.
